The Malaysian prime minister has confirmed that the piece of wreckage found on the island of Reunion is from MH370, the plane that went missing a while ago. Many say this proves that the plane crashed in the Indian ocean, therefore this explanation would bring a close to one of the biggest aviation mysteries in history. However, the wreckage was found thousands of miles away from the search site. This discovery does not show why the plane crashed, however. The planes flight recorders were switched of but military radar saw the plane fly north west, away from the planned route, before it lost all contact. Many people believe that the mystery may never be solved.
