The Labour party leadership contest has been going for some time since Labours defeat in the general election. The contest for the leadership of the UKs second biggest party by MPs has open up a lot of debate. The four candidates are Liz Kendall, the most centreist of the candidates, Yvette cooper, Andy Burnham, and Jeremy Corbyn, the veteren left-wing backbenger. Jeremy Corbyn was only nominated after some MPs 'lent' Corbyn their nomination to widen the debate. Jeremy Corbyn has taken the Labour party by storm and is now the frontrunner of the contest. His policies include renationalisation of the railways and energy companies and scrapping Trident. The results of will be announced on
